The Outdoor BOOK: new catalogue and designs
For Corradi, 2023 was the dawn of a new vision for outdoor spaces, both for private residences and commercial environments. The new catalogues introduced the outdoors as a true lifestyle, presenting different moods for interpreting the outdoors, such as urban, conviviality, country, garden, wellness and nature. With The Outdoor BOOK, we wanted to introduce a renewed vision of space as a place to be experienced to the full and in line with the style of its inhabitants.The restyling of Alba at the Salone del Mobile fair in Milan
Among the highlights of 2023 is the launch of the new Alba at the Salone del Mobile fair in Milan. Compact, multifaceted and functional, our bioclimatic system amazed the public with its innovative design and refined minimalist architecture. Its clean appearance is accentuated by the recently redesigned corner casing, which allows it to adapt to traditional as well as modern or contemporary architectural styles.Between next normal and wellness, the leitmotif of Milan Design Week - always a must for Corradi - was the importance of materials in outdoor design: their substance, texture and consistency, essential elements in shaping everything, the tangible transition from design to creation. The Outdoor Touch, the title chosen for the installation at the Fuori Salone, emphasised how outdoor living is a space that can connect the inside with the outside in a tangible way, creating places for outdoor living and not just outdoor environments.
The Outdoor Voices. Encounters, stories, ideas and open-air trends
And it was Corradi's spaces during Milan Design Week that hosted the kick-off of “The Outdoor Voices”: an episodic format that took us on a journey through the worlds of design, architecture, sport and entertainment with the aim of broadening the dialogue on the outdoors, enriching it and gathering different stories, thoughts and experiences to explore the world outside. Among the contract solutions that stood out in terms of innovation and aesthetic excellence is the renovation project for the Hotel Splendide Royal in Rome. The terrace of the Adèle Mixology Lounge, designed by Giammetta Architects studio, has become an exclusive overlook over the rooftops of the capital also thanks to our Maestro Pergotenda®. A real jewel, a clear example of how the careful study of the project together with the choice of architectural solutions can make the difference, adding the touch of class that has made the elegant sky bar a highlight of the Roman landscape.
Great cults, new opportunitie
The year 2023 also saw outdoor spaces as the great protagonists of our moments of conviviality, sets for our leisure time and vistas for our moments of comfort. Many of us have rethought our outdoor spaces to create living spaces for many months of the year, and have done so with our solutions: Maestro, Imago®, Alba, Palladia®, Defense, were some of the great performers of this 2023.Corradi Pergotenda®, Bioclimatic Pergolas and sun sails have helped to create regenerating places for relaxation, entertainment and outdoor dining.
Imago®, with its combination of technology and design, has satisfied the desire for well-being of anyone who has sought a flexible solution. With their sinuous shapes, the sun sails invite us to enjoy the outdoors during the good weather. With Palladia® we have rediscovered the pleasure of experiencing the outdoors even during the colder months thanks to the side closures and lighting accessories.
The year 2023 closes with a sense of satisfaction with the months spent on innovation and the excellent work. Looking ahead, we are preparing for an even more exciting 2024, full of new opportunities and with the promise of an entirely new innovation that we will discover together during the first months of the new year.
