Summit is Corradi USA’s signature screen product. It provides an assortment of practical and engaging enclosure options to control and protect your surroundings. Originally designed in the United States, it is also our most popular system in North America and is exclusively designed and manufactured by Corradi USA.

The base model has a traditional curved front cassette with the option to upgrade to a square front so you can choose which option best complements your surrounding architecture. It offers a variety of side-guide options that include the ShyZip^® Spring track system and Cable Guides for smooth operation. Whatever kind of attachment you need, the Summit comes with ceiling brackets to attach to a ceiling or soffit and can be upgraded to a wall bracket to attach the screen to a vertical wall.

Summit’s maximum width is 18 feet and the maximum drop is up to 16 feet depending on fabric choice. The frame finish is available, of course, in our 9 beautiful designer matte-finish colors ranging from Carbon and Corten to Beach Sand and White Quartz. Custom RAL color upgrades for the frame are also available by request so you can match the tone of your perfect outdoor space.

Modes of function

Summit is available manual or motorized to fulfill any screen control preference. The manual option has a detachable crank and can be used up to the manual maximum length of 16 feet wide. Any shade more than 16 feet wide must be motorized. Motor configurations include a wired switch controlled motor or wireless remote controlled motor. Corradi USA offers the latest motors from Somfy® and can be integrated into most home automation systems. Also, the wireless options can be used with a sun & wind sensor to automatically operate under specific conditions.

Summit is ideal for use on exterior window applications, to help reduce energy usage and allow for more temperature control in the home or building envelope. It is perfect to enclose a patio with an overhead structure so you may enjoy it better by reducing glaring sunlight and pestering bugs. It can help outdoor restaurant dining areas by providing the same protection, and increasing ROI (return on investment) by keeping patrons comfortable on the patio and therefore extending your seating capacity. You can even extend the footprint of your house by applying these shades to your garage door opening, making it  a multi-use room with extra protection from the sun and insects.
